Sri Lanka Tea Convention: A Remarkable
Experience and Industry Insights
At Tecpacking, we are always seeking opportunities to engage with industry

industry. Recently, we had the distinct honor of participating as an Associate
Sponsor at the prestigious Sri Lanka Tea Convention. This event, renowned for
bringing together the brightest minds and most influential figures in the tea
industry, exceeded our expectations in every way.
An Unforgettable Experience
As someone deeply involved in the tea
packaging sector, I was personally
thrilled to attend this event and to
witness the dynamic exchange of ideas
that took place. The convention not
only provided us with a platform to
showcase Tecpacking’s state-of-the-art
pyramid tea bag machines but also
allowed us to forge new relationships
and strengthen existing ones within the global tea community.
A special mention must be made of Mr. Ganesh Deivanayagam, and Mr. Anil
Cooke , Chairman of the Tea Association, and their esteemed colleagues, Their
exceptional efforts in organizing the convention ensured that everything ran
smoothly. Thanks to their meticulous planning and warm hospitality, we not
only had a successful and productive experience but also enjoyed a
comfortable and pleasant stay in Sri Lanka. The professionalism and
dedication demonstrated by Mr. Ganesh and his team were truly impressive and
contributed greatly to the overall success of the event.
Promoting Innovation with Tecpacking**During the convention, Tecpacking showcased our latest advancements in tea
bag packaging technology. Our high-speed pyramid tea bag machine, capable
of producing up to 100 bags per minute, garnered significant attention. This
machine not only enhances production efficiency but also ensures the highest
quality in every single tea bag, meeting the growing demand for premium tea
experiences.
We also introduced our innovative packaging materials, which are designed to
be both eco-friendly and robust, aligning with the industry’s shift towards
sustainability. These materials are fully compatible with our machines and
ensure that the tea retains its freshness and flavor from the moment it is packed
until it reaches the consumer.
